Chapter One; She'll find out the truth..

The copper and rust coloured groves only made the large chunk of flesh, the size of it had to have been a bit smaller then a child, the rough surface looked like it was part of a rock, but it was clearly living or was still part of a living creature when the small veins where the blood had flowed through, supplying the tissue that laid below it's harden skin, began to expand and contract, clearly starving. It needed blood, however that had formed into a large pool around it, with small streams forming along the cracks in the pavements, dark crimson red fluid still poured from the chuck, and already it began to leave a horrid smell. Something like dried cowhide after it had been set on fire only to be violently mixed in a large blender with leftovers of what could have been human intestines.

"Do they always fight that violently?" her voice sounded like two pieces of sanding paper scrapping against one another with every word she poke, a slight torment, but it would only be for another few days before she would have her vocal chords replaced. Having them damaged weeks before when one of the smaller beasts broke fear and tried to rip her throat open, it has successes.

She was slender, with a soft hour glass shape, however you wouldn't really have noticed it under the large white lab coat, with neon black trims on the sleeves, that seemed clearly too big for her size. The black trims were a universal signal she was highly intelligent in many fields. Her chest was mild, nothing that would have drawn the attention of every man or woman, but she always caught a few staring glances at them if she had worn something more, exposing. Her long slender fingers gripping tightly around the thin narrow guard rail that held them back from falling onto the think triple plated glass, not that falling onto it would shatter it sending anyone who did too their doom, but it was still important to have anyway. Her legs were thin, sickening think to be honest, her muscular tone carves showed she did little of working out, and the lack of fat meant she was ill, aids if she was unlucky, but then again it just might have been the way she was born. Her eyes were narrow, dark and hallow, like a pair of eyes hiding the mind of a man who had nothing left, nothing to gain or loose, nothing worth to fight for. Her hair rich in a cherry blood, partly shaved around on the sides only allowing a simple large around patch of hair on the very top, but it was long and reached down, passing her rear and tied in a simple triple line twists. He face was narrow and long as was her neck, let full, her lips pucked and ready to smile or frown, boney cheeks weren't as visible but they allowed her jawline to be more defined, neat thin eyebrows maybe too neat and thin. With a pale white complex, she clearly had not seen the day of light in years, maybe longer.

The voice that replied came from a floating droid, about four inches in height and floated easily in the air and around her, keeping a close proximity to it's host. The voice was bare and toneless, robotic and clearly build not to entertain.

"They act like this during the first two months of their breeding cycle, killing off any males that would try and mate with any of the other females, but it seems to keep the violence of pregnancy down afterwards, so it works out.." the small driod moved towards her left, ushing her to move on to the next view.

"Shall we continue to the next species? I have been programmed to tell you they are the most interesting of all the others so far..". She could only smile with a nod as they left the small narrow room and entered another room, a mirror image of the last. "How many do we have stored so far if I might ask?", but the droid did not reply, she was brought here for a reason, and it wasn't to ask how well they were doing trying to restore what animals they had lost to the destruction of earth. No, she wouldn't need to know anymore then she already had to.

"These ones have the ability to change shape like the Syclonas, but lack the brain power to use it properly.. however we've been able to locate the gene that allows it and have been able to use it, for some rather good result..".

She turned towards the droid, his arms rose neatly folding tightly under her breasts, almost lifting them. "What kind of good results?" she had to ask, she was so curious about this place and they so far had told her nothing about it.

"Well that depends.." it replied.

"On?".

"Your definition of a good result." and before she could say anything to counter that the small driod zipped off.

It's smooth shell was just a simple cover, covering what was a complex network of wries and small nanoites roaming over crystallized boards and pico fibered bands. The droid was powered by a simple fusion cell, no bigger then a new born hand, but had enough charge to last for days before it would even notice it needed another recharge. The shell was empty, no features, no markings, not camera or speaker, it just looked like a simple floating sliver ball, but you could at times and certain parts of the lab see a faint green aura around it's shell, that was the fusions Ion release, allowing it repel gravity, making it float.

Another door slid open, from the cold white walls, sliding and disappearing into the walls internal slot before it would slide back out enclosing both her and the floating ball in the next room.

This room however unlike the rest had an open ceiling, the brightly shining stars were dim from the surrounding lights located inside the room and outside, though it was still possible to make out several star systems, some newly discovered while others old as was the Earth.

"If you wait here, The Doctor will be with you in a moment, there is a coffee machine just through that doorway.." something told her to thank the small floating ball, but it was useless once the ball had suddenly slipped into a small vent, perfectly round and large enough to fit the ball in snug as a rug.

He hands dropped to her hands, but then to her lap as she sat on one of the small oddly shaped chairs. It's smooth silky cover made it slipper to seat on but she soon found it simple enough once she positioned her feet right. The room unlike the ones before, wasn't white, but instead it was a dim gray cement slates, all raised around her, leaving only the door and a long narrow window behind her, the view however was steamed giving the impression it was located beside the large lava fronts that float by the facility, also a good source of power if it was used right, and they knew how to use it right.

The room was bare, excluding afew chairs and a table where some old fashion magazines had been located, the headings mostly read things about the 90's and 2000's, those magazines had to be centuries old, strange though. So now she would wait, her left leg rose over her right, both hands over the knee with her shoulders slumping forward, finding herself quickly bored.. maybe coffee was a good idea.

It felt like being in one of those 21st century hunting lodges, the walls filled with oddly strange heads that had once belonged to amazing creatures or dangerous darkness lurking monsters, now reduced to share the living spaces with what they might have hunted, how ironic they would all end up dead and stuck together. The walls were also like a lodge, but it was a tacky wallpaper, stuck loosely on what was concrete slabs underneath it also, like the room she was in before with the coffee machine.

"Sorry about keeping you waiting out there for so long, I've had nothing but calls and messages left all over the place its.. it's just total chaotic here.." his small beady eyes focused on her, eying her figure and womanly features before returning to the large stack of files and folders beside infront and all around him basically.

He was short, clearly too short for the desk as he moved like he was sitting on a booster seat, his stubby arms reached over the thick folders until he picked afew and tossed them towards the end of the table that she had been leaning on to see him. His face was rounded, like a ball, the dark thick groves around his lips and above his eyebrows proved her thoughts about him being a alrge man at one point, the skin hadn't yet settled to his now thinned form, although he was still over weight, it was clear he was a beast before hand. His skin was lacking sunlight she was, but that was for different reason. His bald head has only small parts of hair around his ears and what looked to be in his ears also. He wore those old earth style cheesey atier, the black and white striped jacket, long sleeved with a white button up shirt, the gray tie and no doubt was more black and white strip pants. Although she really didn't notice anything except the soft shine off his head, reflecting the dim light above him, infact it was rather distracting to her. She had no idea skin could be so shiny..

"Anyway, those are your first cases, they are the latest finds we've been so gracefully been allowed to look over, alot of the information however is blacked out or cut out so we can't try and work out what it was, but I'm sure your used to that.. right?" it was his smile that told herself to avoid to look at, it was something about how he looked at her while he smiled. Those eyes piercing through her clothing and watching her body, or maybe he was sicker and watched deeper, at her organs and heartbeat freely within her chest.

She wrapped both hands around either side of the small bundle, but was caught with her guard down when his hands rested ever so lightly on her hands, holding them down suddenly with force as he leaned forward. His lips parted as she could see the small pinkish toned tongue flicked back and froth with each of his words, this smile grew exposing his pure white teeth, something he no doubt gained from days of dental work. Something told her he wasn't the type of guy who was hygienic either.

"Please, if there is anything you need, anything at all, don't think twice about asking me, my door is always open to you Professor, or may I call you Iris?". She was able to pull her hands free, without looking like she had just escaped death from or something just as worse, a perverted small old man. She wanted to reply, say something alone the lines of get fuck you short little fucker, or something just as insulting, but she needed this job more then anyone could understand.

"Iris is fine Doctor.." she wanted to run now, flee into the darkness and cry like she had been raped, and the sad part was, she felt like she had been raped, her hands now infected and corrupted by his sickening touch, she wanted to cut them off, burn the skin away and kill herself. But she would gain her revenge soon enough.

"Well then Iris, I'll let you get back to work then, I'll get one of the clerks to show you to your new working station, remember if you need anything, please let me know right away!" Iris couldn't say anything anymore without sounding like she was about to cry or freak out, she could only nod and quickly leave the room, leaving the sickening thoughts and the ideas of that man touching her once more. And as soon as she reached teh door it had opened, but instead of a clear path to walk she found herself standing dead center into the eyes of a young teen, smirking with a big cheesey grin on her face.

Her hair was soft and blonde, not one of those fake hair blonde girls, her hair was natural blonde, perfectly yellow with small fades to white around the tips. Blue striking eyes put Iris into shock dropping one of the thinner folders but luckily having not to pick up all the papers as nothing had fallen out of it. The young blond, full figured with a burst and hips that doubled her own hair, she was as tall as Iris and quickly bent over picking up the folder, standing up right, it was like she exposed her largely cleavage at Iris, almost on purpose for her reaction, Iris was caught off guard, blushing.

"<color=indigo>Hi!" she said, holding the folder tightly to her chest as the folder began to bend around her chest, "<color=indigo>I'm Sura, I'll be your humanoid guide until we find your work station!" she sounded young, far younger then an adult almost like a preppy teen, 15 maybe 16. And maybe she could have been wearing all that pink and purples with the small name tag saying 'spankable'. Instantly, Iris thought she might have been the work place whore, screwing anyone she could get into bed, or onto a work desk, just to get herself ahead of everyone else.

Passing her Sura only looked back at the doctor and smiled, a quick wink and he could only grin, turning away in his seat facing the large bubbling fire that he had hid well behind his large maroon chair. His hands brushed against one another, trying to remember the sensation he had gained when he touched Iris's hands, before suddenly licking the right like he could taste her still through all the grime and sticky muck on his hand.

Sura handed her the folder back, moving ahead as she moved towards the room where the coffee had been stored in and unlocked another door, Iris had lacked to find. "You said your humanoid, aren't you human?" having only realized she did seem extreme human, but a more perverted version. She thought Sura was just some robotic skeleton covered in fake human parts, that was until Sura stopped and alookwed Kiris with a cold death stare.

"<color=indigo>I'm human thank you very much.." she paused before smiling with a small chuckle and adding "<color=indigo>Expect these puppies aren't real!" taking a large firm hold over her chest, clearly larger then any normal woman and way bigger then her own, Iris only sighed shaking her head following the young sex idol to where she would leave her to work.

The walk was long, the walls were bare, and had nothing that seemed to be any interest at all. Along the ceilings where small floodlights, halve the size of her fist with small speakers connected above them. They were disconnected from the rest of power supply, working on a separate line that only powered up once the rest of the complex lost all it's main power. But above those speakers were another set, she noticed those right away from the song music that flowed out each one. She heard heard the song once before when she was younger, and having spent alot of time going through her Mothers old records and movies..

Clint Mansell - Requiem for a Dream, a very old song from the time Earth was still Earth.it was classified a classic and was hard to find one sample that had been saved and preserved well like the ones her Mother had, each song, each movie perfectly saved in a plastic contained, back then they used compact disks, CD's, now we had ports, small memory sticks that held hundreds of peta's of songs allowing for an endless amount of personalize music. Iris had hers strapped to her belt among with more memory sticks holding data and information on what she was going to be working on for the next few months, and if she was lucky enough to discover something, she might be here less.. but until she got to look at these notes and finds, she won't know what was going on, she could only hope this Sura girl knew where she was going..

I'm still defining each character and I hoe in time I'll put up some pictures and of them and some others one of ships and stations and other things too.

And yes I know, there are alot of Typos and errors, I'm doing my best to fix them, so don't worry about pointing them out, thanks though!

Going through and re-editing it.

Fixing misspelled words, and fixing misplaces words.
